Professional Profile
Infrastructure Support Manager | Systems & Network Engineer | Microsoft, Cisco, and VMware Certified
I am a systems and infrastructure leader with 20+ years of hands-on experience spanning SMB consulting, enterprise growth, virtualization, messaging, and multi-site operations. I developed an early interest in technology by building computers alongside my father and learning foundational troubleshooting through DOS-era PC gaming. At the time, achieving optimal performance often required exiting Windows and booting directly into DOS, where configuring reliable sound could be a challenge. Experiences like manually setting DMA and IRQ channels and installing applications from the command line helped shape the structured, detail-oriented approach I bring to engineering and operations today.
I earned the industry-standard (at the time) Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certification in 2006 to begin my professional career in IT. I went directly into consulting and spent many long hours getting up to speed. Focused on closing the gap between book knowledge and real-world experience as quickly as possible.
Throughout my career, I have seen the industry evolve from early internet connectivity (dial-up/ISDN) to the first broadband offerings (DSL/cable) and the high-speed connections we have today. I'm excited to see what this latest wave of AI innovation brings; it seems to have reignited many people's passion for computing. Much like the invention of the personal computer or the internet, it represents a major shift—and I'll be watching closely.
For more than a decade, I have served with my current employer, Life Flight Network, the largest not-for-profit air emergency medical services (EMS) agency in the country. It has been a privilege to support a mission-driven organization of dedicated professionals, and I take pride in contributing to the delivery of critical patient care through resilient infrastructure, dependable operations, and thoughtful leadership. I designed this site to serve as a web-based résumé and technical portfolio.
